A magnificent English circa 1830, George IV / William IV period neoclassical mahogany champagne cooler of rare large scale and sarcophagus form, the thick rounded-edge ‘cushion’ rim above original lead lined interior, the exterior panelled with beautiful flame veneers and resting on reed-carved bun feet concealing original brass casters. Originally used as a champagne cooler in a dining room, it can also be chicly used as a log or kindling bin for use beside a fireplace.
