A wonderful circa 1770 French provincial Louis XVI fauteuil in original ‘gris’ paint, the narrow back and wide seat (typically connoting a ladies chair for gowns) having late 19th century floral and ribbon needlepoint tapestry upholstery.  Seat measures 19″ x 24″.
