An exquisite pair of neoclassical Corinthian column form table lamps converted to electricity in the early 20th century from circa 1825 French Sinumbra oil lamp bases, the lost-wax-cast ormolu bronze capitals atop gilt-metal fluted shafts on ormolu bead-twisted-rope Attic bases and flat and reverse anthemion-frieze stepped plinths. Newly French wired with twisted silk cords and phenolic plugs to solid brass single socket knob-turn fittings with shade harps.
